A woman was shamed by an Uber Eats delivery driver, after she ordered plan B, and they told her to ‘reconsider.’

A woman took to Reddit to post about a recent Uber Eats delivery that caused her some distress. In the post, she says that it was raining outside, however, she needed to get Plan B delivered to her home.

After calling the delivery service, she says that the driver lingered in CVS for around 30 minutes picking up her order. Then she says that he sent her the following message:

“[I] can not accept and deliver this knowing what it [will] do.” He also stated that he “hope[s] you reconsider,” finishing the message with the words “God bless.”

“I’m kinda embarrassed and also a little upset. Not really sure what to do,” she wrote.”I understand if he didn’t want to because of his beliefs but sending me a message like that is way overstepping. I already felt kinda guilty ordering it & told myself I was being dumb, then my worst fear happens.”

People weigh in on Uber Eats Plan B shaming

After the post was made on Reddit, people were quick to share their frustrations over the driver’s behavior.

“Regardless of beliefs- if this guy didn’t want to complete your order, he also should have had it reassigned to another driver so your order could rightfully be completed on your end instead of holding the order basically hostage.”

“He’s not the asshole for canceling the order. He’s the asshole for proselytizing and throwing it in her face,” another weighed in.

One Redditor attempted to explain what was going on, writing:

“Plan B is considered an abortion by some religious people. I think it’s the ideology that you’re inhibiting conception, therefore playing God in a sense. I think that’s what he’s alluding to. I would be confused, too; I’ve had to use Plan B several times. Don’t be embarrassed. You are being responsible.”

Another Uber Eats customer went viral, when they sparked debate with their ‘hack’ for getting free food.
