Fortnite streamer encounters major shotgun bug in the middle of a match
After experencing what appeared to be a pretty major bug during a match, Twitch streamer and professional Fortnite player Sypher ‘SypherPK’ Ali went back to examine the footage and discovered that the bug was indeed real.
The bug happened while Ali was using the Pump Shotgun, a weapon that saw major changes in an update on November 21.
November’s changes saw the Pump get the damage it puts out increased, but the range of the weapon decreased, but SypherPK’s problem is that his Shotgun seems to do no damage at all.
As he’s facing off with an enemy player, SypherPK explains how he engages with his foe and shows that after switching to the pump his shot seems to not have registered, even though his ammunition is missing and the hit markers appeared on the screen.
SypherPK’s shot doesn’t even do any damage to the enemy player, and when he switches back to his Pump Shotgun, the missing round is somehow back.
Can we PLEASE talk about this HUGE problem in Fortnite?

“This is very confusing,” the streamer told viewers. “Am I being punished for swapping too fast?”
It seems that his switching between editing and firing his weapon so quick caused his shot to somehow not register despite showing hit markers.
Epic Games has seen its fair share of Fortnite controversy over the past week after the introduction of the Infinity Blade just before a major tournament, and it doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon.
