Tfue lashes out at Hogman and other Fortnite pros for "griefing" in tournament

Fortnite star Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney was left furious with the playstyle of another team of pros during a recent trios tournament – calling them out for griefing.

Despite being one of the best Fortnite Battle Royale players in the world, not even Tfue can waltz his way into winning every game – he can still fall to the game’s infuriating RNG [Random Number Generator] and the actions of other pros.

That randomness was on full display as he tried to dominate the $25K Nerdout! Trios tournament but fell way short, laying the blame partly on the playstyle of fellow pro players.

Tfue is widely regarded as one of the best Fortnite Battle Royale players around.

During his July 20 stream, Tfue had been competing in the lucrative Trios event alongside Cody ‘Clix’ Conrod and FaZe Clan’s Josue ‘Sway’, when they ran into trouble with an opposing team as they attempted to move towards the main zone.

“What the fuck are these guys doing? Fucking idiots,” Tfue called out as they blew up his Quadcrasher and immediately jumped into a fight with his trio. The Fortnite star repeated his line of questioning once he had been eliminated and tried to offer up an explanation.

After being told that it was likely a solo player, Team Secret’s ‘Fuzzy’ and Michael ‘Hogman’ Hogman, Tfue continued: “They’re just fucking griefing. Are these kids really just fucking hiding dude? Bro, what the fuck is this game?”

Despite having one of his teammates still alive in the match, the Fortnite star was still visibly angry with what had just happened and tried to figure out why the enemy players had taken the gunfight.

“The storm was pushing bro – literally on us, right then,” he added, explaining to Clix why he was right to run away by himself. “These kids are fucking challenging fifty-fifties. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Hogman.”

Of course, the play had a major impact on Tfue’s trios chances of winning as they eventually fell short of the rewarding top three spots.

All of the Fortnite star’s focus will be towards the upcoming World Cup even where he will look to dominate his fellow pros and take home the top prize of $3 million.
