Everything You Need to Know About Fortnite’s Customizable Wild Card Outfit Styles and High Stakes Cosmetics

Ross Deason

One of the most exciting aspects of Fortnite’s High Stakes event, which will begin this week, is the all-new cosmetic set that comes with it.

First and foremost in that set is the Wild Card outfit which, as was initially predicted in a number of leaks, will be customizable.

With a total of four masks/headstyles available, players will be able to choose between a heart, a club, a diamond, or a spade (continuing the playing card theme). The Wild Card outfit will be purchasable in the item shop.

First Look at Fortnite’s New Getaway LTM and Grappler Item In Action

There is an in-game spray and a new “Money” Trail, both of which can be earned by completing a specific High Stakes challenge. The Money Trail is yours for picking up a jewel in 5 different matches of the getaway LTM, and the spray can be earned by dealing 500 damage to jewel carrying opponents

The back bling will be called Cuff Case and features a briefcase with handcuffs attached. The glider will be called Safe Crack and quite literally looks like the door to a giant safe… with wings attached:

Rarities and prices of all items, as well as the official names for the pickaxe and in-game spray, will be added when the information becomes available.

The High Stakes challenges are expected to go live at the same time as the all-new Grappler item and Getaway LTM in the V5.40 patch (which is expected to be released on Thursday, September 6).
