Fortnite Devs Pay Tribute In-Game to Muselk’s Daring Rescue Attempt
The greatest rescue attempt in Fortnite: Battle Royale history has received its own in-game memorial.
After a player got stuck outside of the traditional Fortnite map with no way to get back up, Muselk, a popular Australian streamer, attempted to save the stranded competitor in any way possible.
In turn, the clip of the rescue mission quickly took off across the internet and gaming world for its hilarious nature and display of camaraderie within the Fortnite community and was even posted by the official Fortnite Twitter account.

Following the now-infamous moment, Epic Games took it a step further by adding a tribute to Muselk and Chappadoodle in the form of a small tombstone, plus a set of tires so any future cast-aways can potentially bounce themselves out of the building limit.
