Fortnite: New leaks point to the possible return of Thanos LTM
Epic GamesFortnite has seen its fair share of movie-tie ins but almost none were so well received and immersive as the Infinity Gauntlet LTM that was first introduced in May 8.
During the hype around the Avengers: Infinity War release in April of 2018, Epic Games and Marvel Studios saw it best to release a crossover and introduce Thanos to Fortnite in an LTM, but a new leak suggests that players might see him again.
In a Tweet from FortTory, the leaker has found new files in the v7.01 update released on December 11 that has new information that could point to a return of the popular LTM.

FortTory discovered files which include keywords such as “Gauntlet Pickup Derez” and “Gauntlet Pickup Fading,” both of which suggest a live, interactive item in Fortnite.
The leak also came with a short audio clip under the “Carmine_Disapear_01” file, Carmine being associated with the Thanos event.
The original Infinity Gauntlet LTM saw solo players hunt and wield the Infinity Gauntlet which would turn them into the Mad Titan. The transformation gave the player special abilities such as a super jump, a mighty punch and an energy blast produced by the Power Stone.
Heres a new sound file called "Carmine_Disapear_01"
Carmine is the name associated with the thanos event.

If the leak carries any weight, the files could be a hint that a renewed collaboration between Marvel and Epic Games is in the works, possibly for the release of Avengers: Endgame which releases on April of 2019.
As of the time of writing, there is no word from Epic Games or Marvel Studios if any such joint effort is in the works.
