Fortnite player breaks controller in rage after “Wile E. Coyote” style death
Epic GamesOne Fortnite player ended up smashing their controller after suffering a Wile E. Coyote-style death in a match. Here’s what happened.
Fortnite can sometimes be an intense game as players try to battle it out in sweaty Battle Royale lobbies, be it casual, Ranked, or tense FNCS matches. However, the same game mode can produce some hilarious, laughter-inducing moments either playing on your own or with a group of friends.
In the past, several such clips have gone viral, such as a friendly banter between DrLupo and Ninja or the tragedy of Chappadoodle with Muselk. Now that Fortnite has entered Chapter 5, the hilarity continues as the player community shares such moments on social media.
Recently, one such player smashed their controller in a fit of rage when they suffered a tragic yet hilarious death in the game in the style of Road Runner’s Wile E. Coyote. The player has shared the clip of the incident with the community and it’s one of the most hilarious moments this season.
Fortnite player breaks controller over Anvil Launcher mishap in Chapter 5
A Fortnite player named PeterHR0 shared the clip on Reddit where they were left in disbelief by an experience that they felt had to be shared online. In the clip, the player aimed and fired an Anvil Launcher towards an enemy vehicle.
Gradually, the player started moving towards the vehicle hoping the enemy would exit it. Turns out, they moved into the drop zone of the launcher’s shot, which directly hit them and caused them to get eliminated, while the enemy survived.
While sharing the clip, the player described the aftermath of the incident and said, “My gamepad went to heaven after this clip.”
The Fortnite community couldn’t believe what they had witnessed and related the clip to the Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner Looney Tunes show. “Wile E. Coyote plays Fortnite, apparently,” one such player said. “That is some Looney Toon’s Wile E. Coyote s**t right there,” another agreed.
One player explained the incident and commented, “It locks onto whatever location it’s aimed at. However, if you try to lock onto a vehicle, there’s a certain amount of time that you need to take before you’re locked onto one. They fired their rocket too fast.”
