Fortnite players will not have long to wait before Chapter 5’s next season and its Greek Mythology theme finally kicks off.
Epic Games plans to shake up the Battle Royale universe once more with Season 2, which they have constantly been teasing. This has included a new Greek-themed NPC, an inventive Titan’s Hand and Pandora’s box event, as well as various official images depicting Greek gods.
One that has been hotly discussed is the arrival of all the new skins and cosmetics launching into the game. This is especially in regards to the Chapter 5 Season 2 Battle Pass.
With leaks and rumors constantly being circled, players in the community have made it known to Epic that they do not want the “trash” Fish Thicc skin to return to the Battle Pass.
Fortnite players call for Fish Thicc to not be in next Battle Pass
Fortnite player MeowsclesOnlyFans posted an image of the Greek-themed Fish Thicc statue at the Ruined Reels POI to the game’s subreddit.
With Greek Mythology set to takeover Season 2 along with a whole new Battle Pass, they pleaded to Epic: “Praying we don’t get a BP slot wasted on this. We just had a Fish Thicc skin less than 2 seasons ago.”
One Fortnite player stated: “All of the fish skins are trash and a waste of a slot,” as another added: “I thought I was the only one who hates Fishstick. I hate Peely too. I don’t get why a sentient Bannana became the mascot.”
“Even if there wasn’t a Fish Thicc skin recently, I still just wouldn’t want another Fishstick skin in the Battle Pass in general,” a player said, as the OP simply responded: “Keep that garbage in the Item Shop.”
The general consensus was that players didn’t want him to take place of one of the Greek gods: “If they make him the actual Poseidon skin I’m gunna be pissed. Zeus looks good so far, they are siblings ffs, surely he won’t be a fish.”
Many instead echoed: “If it’s item shop, I’m more than ok with that. If it’s Battle Pass, I’m less than ok with that.” To which the OP even admitted: “Agreed. That way people who missed Chapter 4 Season 4 can get him.”
Epic Games has not confirmed or provided any clues towards any of the skins or cosmetics that will be included in the upcoming Chapter 5 Season 2 Battle Pass for Fortnite.
