Fortnitemares chest locations: Ghost Town, Spooky Farm, Haunted Forest

David Purcell

v11.10 content update on October 29, including many features for their annual spooky event, and several points of interest have been given a new look.

The fresh set of Fortnitemares challenges have been revealed ahead of schedule by data miners, but one thing that has been confirmed that the Storm King will be part of the event – a powerful monster that is looking to destroy the Battle Royale map.

Not only will fans be tasked with the challenge of taking down the Storm King, however, but there are three spots on the island that they will also need to visit, as we mentioned earlier.

While their names might be large hints about where to find them, let’s take a look at the precise locations of Ghost Town, Spooky Farm and Haunted Forest.

Fortnite Ghost Town location

Are you going to visit the Ghost Town in Fortnite?

Let’s start off by showing you potentially the trickiest one to find from these challenges. Ghost Town, by its name alone, could be referring to a number of different landing spots. It could be Retail Row, Misty Meadows… Anywhere!

However, it’s actually not a named location at all. Based in the Northeast corner of the map, Ghost Town could well be somewhere you haven’t visited just yet. You’re going to have to land there and open at least one chest for Fortnitemares challenges, though.

Fortnite Spooky Farm location

Open one chest at Spooky Farm for Fortnitemares, but don’t be scared by the interior of the barns!

There are some new surprises waiting to be discovered at the Frenzy Farm location, which has been renamed Spooky Farm – at least in these challenges.

Fortnite Haunted Forest location

There’s a Haunted Forest for Fortnite players to explore now.

Fornite has always had at least one location on the map almost entirely covered with trees and just like it has in the past, its latest forest point of interest – Weeping Woods – has been given a scary twist.

The buildings might look fairly similar to what we’ve come to expect from them, but it’s fair to say that they now resemble haunted houses. Open one chest here for Fortnitemares challenges and watch out for players. You probably won’t be alone.

For more precise locations, we’ve signposted each spot on the island for you – as seen with the map below.

If you’re still not sure where to find these Fortnitemares locations, here they are.

All you have to do when you get there is search through at least one chest at each of them. Once that’s done, you will have ticked off the challenge and can move onto some of the others.

We also have a full list of chest locations for the Fortnite Chapter 2 map to help you out, showing your chances of finding one at these places.
