Fortnite’s brand new Foraged Campfire is coming soon

Epic Games will soon be adding the Foraged Campfire to Fortnite, allowing players to heal up in a very different way.

The change, which was first announced on January 23 by EpicRook on Reddit, has been confirmed to be an upcoming playable feature in the game and will be available as part of the upcoming v7.30 Content Update.

This will give players the chance to interact with existing campfires that are dotted around the map and use them in the same way as the Cozy Campfire to heal up.

Campfires all around the Fortnite Battle Royale map can now be used for healing!

This will be just one of the many changes made to Fortnite in the v7.30 Content Update and it’ll give players even more healing opportunities, which should prevent shortages of healing items from occurring in the future.

Many gamers were quick to share their delight about the change on social media, after spotting the Foraged Campfire’s status on the in-game feed had changed from “coming soon” to available.

However, that seems to have been a mistake by the developer and it’s since been changed back – meaning that it wasn’t quite ready to play, despite brief excitement from fans.

Instead, it’s set to be added with the v7.30 content update according to a tweet from Fortnite’s official Twitter account.

Another item which is coming soon to Fortnite is the Bottle Rocket. Unlike the new campfires, we don’t know a lot about how this new rocket launcher will work, however, it does look very similar to the turrets found in Fortnite already.

Its in-game description reads: “Loud, bright and dangerous! Warning: do not light indoors,” which suggests that it will be very powerful indeed.
