Greasy Grove’s Durr Burger Has Officially Been Eaten By One of the Mysterious Portals in Fortnite

It looks like the strange portal/rift in Greasy Grove has now consumed the top of the Durr Burger sign entirely as the mysterious destruction of landmarks on the Fortnite map continues.

Strange portals or rifts have been showing up across the Fortnite Battle Royale map ever since the rocket launch event that took place on June 30th.

The first one to be discovered was just outside of Lonely Lodge and it soon destroyed the “Lonely Lodge” sign. Next came the Motel sign to the West of Anarchy Acres, shortly followed by Tomato Town.

Retail Row’s “NOMS” sign was also hit and the next rift to be spotted was in Greasy Grove next to the Durr Burger sign.

It looks like the work of that Greasy Grove portal is now complete as footage shared on July 5th shows the burger part of the Durr Burger sign has been consumed, leaving just the lettering:

Fortnite players are still in a state of confusion as they try to figure out the meaning of the portals and what the end of Season 4 on July 12th might bring.

Given the spectacular ending to Season 3 with the meteor strike, it seems likely that Epic Games will try to go one step further this time around and we can’t wait to see what Season 5 will look like.
