How to activate Trigger and Pressure Plates in LEGO Fortnite
In LEGO Fortnite, you can use two types of plates to activate channels and create interactive builds: Pressure Plates and Trigger Plates.
- Pressure Plates are buttons you can stand on to activate channels, and they need to stay pressed down to maintain activation. These are perfect for mechanisms requiring continuous pressure.
- You could use them to keep a door open or keep a conveyor plate running for a duration of time.
- Trigger Plates, on the other hand, activate channels with a single press and don’t need to stay pressed down. Once triggered, they send a signal without requiring constant pressure.
- You could use them to automatically open doors or trigger explosives.
