How to get the TMNT Mythic weapons in Fortnite
Epic GamesLooking to get your hands on the brand new TMNT Mythic weapons in Fortnite? Here’s how you can easily acquire them in Chapter 5 Season 1.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 brings a brand new collab event with the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As part of an expanded collaboration other than the Item Shop skin releases, the Cowabunga event brings Ooze War Quests, an event pass as well as free rewards for players to claim.
However one of the most exciting additions to the collaboration is four Mythic weapons, each themed after a member of the TMNT – Michelangelo, Raphael, Donatello, and Leonardo. These weapons have the same model as their pickaxes sold in the Item Shop as cosmetics.
The four TMNT mythic weapons you can now get in Fortnite are – Donatello’s Staff, Leonardo’s Katanas, Michelangelo’s Nunchaku, and Raphael’s Sai. Here’s how you can acquire them in the game.
How to get TMNT Mythic weapons in Fortnite
The easiest way to get your hands on a TMNT Mythic weapon in Fortnite is by claiming them via TMNT-themed supply drops. There are four types of supply drops you’ll be able to spot across the island, each of which is themed after a TMNT member.
You’ll be able to distinguish the Mythic weapon you can get from the supply drop by recognizing the color and icon of the item on the box. For instance, an orange supply drop will give you Michelangelo’s Nunchaku, red will grant Raphael’s Sai, purple for Donatello’s Staff, and blue for Leonardo’s Katanas.
Each of these weapons have a Dash Attack, a Melee Attack and an Aerial Attack. You’ll get three charges to perform a dash before the weapon goes into a cooldown. TMNT Mythics have a quick dash and swing attack and deal a considerable amount of damage on your enemy per hit.
Alternatively, you can also purchase them for 300 Gold Bars from Vending Machines spread across the Fortnite Chapter 5 map. The image above shows all the locations where you’ll find these vending machines.
However, Vending Machines will only sell you one Mythic item, which means each machine will sell a different weapon than the other.
