How to get Warforged Assault Rifle in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 brings the Warforged Assault Rifle, a new gun based on the god of war, Ares, to the game, and you can see how to get your hands on it right here.

The newest season of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has a lot of new weapons that players can find to wipe out their competition.

Most of these involve finding a specific place on the map to fight a powerful enemy to earn that weapon as well.

This is how it works with the Warforged Assault Rifle, which sees you having to take on the God of War (sorry, not Kratos) himself.

How to get the Warforged Assault Rifle

Of course, you can find normal variants of the Warforged Assault Rifle all around the map, but there is only one way to get your hands on the Mythical variant of it: fighting Ares.

To find Ares, you need to head to the Brawler’s Battleground POI, which is south of Mount Olympus. You will know it’s the right place due to its coliseum aesthetic that is very similar to the Colossal Coliseum that was introduced in Chapter 2.

Here, Ares is waiting for you to fight him, and the battle will not be easy. He will pepper away at you with the Warforged Assault Rifle, which can chunk your health pretty quickly.

On top of this, you will have plenty of other players who are coming to fight Ares as well, as only one player can have the weapon in each match. So, you may be better off keeping a distance from the boss and letting others whittle down his health.

Sure, it’s not the most noble of strategies, but it’s the safest. Just find a good vantage point, take out any enemies that come to fight Ares while also shooting at the boss, and then move in for the kill when his health is low.

The Warforged Assault Rifle is going to give you a high amount of damage, along with a rapid rate of fire, albeit with pretty wild recoil as well.
