All Ghost & Henchmen chest locations in Fortnite Remix

With Avengers and Doom chests gone, Fortnite Remix needed to introduce a new chest with specially mouth-watering loot – and this time, they’re tied to an extra scanning mechanic.

A completely refurbished map is waiting for you to discover it, and each of its corner is full of chests. There are, however, a few that stand out over the rest – the new chests that require you to scan yourself successfully to open them.

In this guide, I’ll show you how to crack these chests open so you can snag all the loot inside them.

All Henchmen & Ghost chest locations

Dexerto

Ghost Chest locations in the Yatch

Here’s where you can find every Ghost Chest inside the Yatch:

• One of them is inside the lower floor’s Upgrade Bench location, where two motorboats are hanging from a grappling machine.
• Outside this room, you’ll find a hallway, in one of the rooms with a scanning door, you’ll spot another Ghost chest.
• The four remaining Ghost chests are inside the Vault, which you can access by defeating Meowdas.

Ghost Chest locations in Spaghetti Grotto

Here’s where you can find every Ghost Chest inside Eminem’s Spaghetti Grotto:

• One of them is on the dining area of the restaurant, against a wall.
• Four are inside the Vault.
• One of the Ghost chests is inside one of buildings near the back entrance, just by the black and purple truck.
• One of them is in the control tower outside of the restaurant, on the surface.
• Another one is outside a building with a red disguise booth, near one of the back entrances.
• There are two Ghost chests in the room behind Eminem’s disc door, here the Fortnite map lies.
• On the second floor of the restaurant, look for a staircase under the “M” of the “Mom’s Spaghetti” sign and look for another Ghost chest behind it.
• The remaining chest can be found by accessing the Grotto through one of the cave back entrances. Here, you’ll find a door to the right that leads to a porta-potty and a Ghost Chest.

Ghost Chest locations in The Doggpound

Here’s where you can find every Ghost Chest inside The Doggpound:

• Two of them are inside the Vault.
• There’s one chest on the right-side wing of The Doggpound, inside a room with computers.
• There another Ghost chest inside the meeting room, which is on the left wing, lower floor of The Doggpound.
• The fifth Ghost chest in the Doggpound is inside Snoop Dogg’s recording room, which is near the meeting room.
• The last Ghost chest is actually underground, in an area you can only access by following the vents.

Ghost Chest locations in The Rig

Here’s where you can find every Ghost Chest in The Rig:

• One of them is inside the room with bunk beds on the second floor of the the orange 1 building.
• Another one is on the lowers floor of the center building in The Rig.
• There’s another on the building with the 3, the one that has an atennae on top. You’ll find it on the highest floor, inside the command room.
• The remaining two chests are inside the Vault.

How to scan yourself to open Ghost or Henchmen chests

To open chests that require you to ‘scan yourself’, you must either grab a disguise from the red phone booths or knock out a henchman and bring them to the chest.

You can usually find one of these red booths not too far away from the scan chests. In fact, each boss location has three disguise phone booths located nearby the area.

Step into the red phone booth and head inside. When you come out, you’ll be in disguise. Then, just go back to where you found the chest and scan yourself. That’ll unlock it.

Inside scan chests, you can find an epic weapon, like the Rocket Launcher, a medi-kit and a slurp juice. This should set you up for a strong start in the match, but beware of the swarm of players gathering in these hotspots to kill the boss.

However, even if you have the boss’ golden card to open the vault, the mythic chests from henchmen or ghost guards outside the vault won’t open for you.
