KEEMSTAR Teases the Possibility of the Friday Fortnite Tournament Series Returning
The popular ‘Friday Fortnite’ tournament series may see a return in the future after it was suddenly canceled.
Originally created by Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem, ‘Friday Fortnite’ quickly became one of the most talked-about tournaments across the Fortnite: Battle Royale community with multiple high-profile personalities competing every week.
However, after UMG decided to part ways with the tournament on July 19 after being a major partner for numerous installations, Friday Fortnite was eventually put on halt, which led to fans, viewers, and players wondering if it would ever return.
On July 26, KEEMSTAR announced that ‘two companies’ have been contacting him in order to possibly bring back the weekly tournament series, yet nothing has been confirmed at the time of writing.
I have 2 companies contacting me trying to bring back #FridayFortnite
I’ll let you know if we close a deal.

After Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite announced their weekly ‘Summer Skirmish’ tournament series which offered massive prize pools, a major scheduling conflict came to fruition with Friday Fortnite.
While KEEMSTAR stated that Friday Fortnite could come back, it is unknown which companies have been in contact with him, or when it could possibly return.
