Loot Llamas are spawning in surprising spots on the Fortnite map

Fortnite Season 7 has been underway for less than a week, however, that has not stopped fans searching for clues about the next possible update and what more there may be to come.

The winter snowstorm and iceberg crashed into the island, giving players a whole new experience to Fortnite. As with every update, Epic games has added plenty of new content, including the addition of the X-4 Stormwing attack plane, zip lines across the map and the ability to add skins to items with wraps.

Everything is now in a winter theme, with plenty of items that add to a Christmasy experience – which should only increase as the run-up to the biggest holiday continues. However, the cold weather never lasts forever and some references to melting can already be spotted.

In a post to the Fortnite subreddit, user xeno486 shows off a Loot Llama that has appeared under a sheet of ice where Greasy Grove used to be. The Llama in Xeno’s post is only visible with the thermal scope.

The spawns of the Llama’s in-game are random and usually follow a similar path to the airpdrops – being found on open surfaces rather than inside buildings and structures. However, one spawning under the ice doesn’t seem all too random.

Some theories in the comments to the Reddit post suggest that as time goes on, the ice will melt and reveal an updated Greasy Grove. It is also completely possible that this particular Llama spawn could be an error on Epic’s part but that would certainly ruin some of the fun for fans.

If anything does change, your best bet is to keep an eye on our updates!
