Ninja, Hungrybox & Twitch stars react to Lady Gaga’s Fortnite tweet

Singer Lady Gaga tried to find out what Fortnite was after seeing it trending for days, and she received a plethora of answers from numerous esports personalities including Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, Juan ‘Hungrybox’ DeBiedma, and many more.

Fortnite Chapter 2 has taken much of the gaming world by storm and a lot of that excitement has crossed over into the mainstream and people who haven’t ever gone anywhere near the game have been asking about.

Lady Gaga simply asked what “Fortnight” was on Twitter and was subsequently answered by many big personalities in the esports and gaming world.

Ninja had a cheeky response to her by asking her to play but did so through only her song lyrics.

“Call me on the Telephone,” he responded in a tweet. “I’ll give you a Million Reasons to play. You and I.”

Of course, he was far from the only person to respond to her.

Smash Bros legend Hungrybox replied and called it the best tweet of the year. Twitch responded with and said they have some friends who can show her all about the game.

IGN poked fun at her spelling of the game, as she called it “Fortnight” in her tweet, and they explained what a fortnight was. These are just some of the examples and there were many more.

Despite her limited knowledge with Fortnite, the Bad Romance singer has dabbled in gaming before and even talked about it on Twitter.

What’s even more surprising, the game she was talking about was Bayonetta, a game where the protagonist destroys demons with her hair.

“Still playing #Bayonetta middle of chapter XIII and my hands hurt and I have to sleep and it’s 4 in the damn morning but this damn dragon with the face that I have to kill with my weave,” she said.

So, for those keeping score at home, Lady Gaga knows what Bayonetta is but not one of the most popular games in the world.

Perhaps all of the responses she received to her question will help her better understand Fortnite in the future. She could always try a quick Google search if all else fails.
