Ninja teams up with Travis Scott for new Samsung Fortnite commercial
Popular Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and global music artist Travis Scott have starred together in a newly released Samsung commercial.
The commercial features the two industry icons promoting the new Galaxy Note 9, which is one of several Samsung devices that comes with the exclusive Galaxy Fortnite outfit skin.
In the ad video, a young girl’s life is turned around as soon as she plays Fortnite on the new Note 9. First, she gets an invite to Travis Scott’s home to game with the rapper, and then gets a call-up to join Ninja on the ‘Fortnite National Team.’
Although it all turns out to be happening in the girl’s head, the message of the advertisement is clear – purchase the new Note 9 and you too can play Fortnite just like Ninja and Travis Scott.
Of course Ninja’s partnership with Samsung is nothing new; the star streamer played a key role in the company’s marketing campaign for the initial launch of the Note 9 back in late August.
He even received a special version of the device several days prior to its release, allowing him to don the Galaxy skin in-game a whole three days before anyone else.
Ninja and Travis Scott, who occasionally play Fortnite together live on Twitch, are also part of an ongoing contest with Samsung that will give one lucky winner the chance to play Fortnite with the two, as well as win some expensive gear.
