Ridiculous Rocket Launcher exploit discovered in Fortnite Battle Royale

Fortnite exploits and weapon bugs have been a hot topic of late, but it seems that Epic Games might have another huge problem on its hands with the Rocket Launcher.

Players have been using the powerful launcher ever since it was first added to the game in Patch 1.6.

However, the danger of using the weapon in close quarters has always been a risk for players because of the potential damage dealt to both yourself and enemies – until now.

The Rocket Launcher in Fortnite can be devastating in close quarters, with this exploit.

In a post to the Fortnite BR subreddit, user PreyBeats has called for the developer to work on an exploit which allows players to destroy materials right in front of them without taking damage.

As shown in the clip below, players who have built around themselves thinking that they’re safe might be very mistaken, if they come up against somebody with a rocket launcher. But, why?

“If you stay on one side of the pyramid and rocket the other side like I did, you don’t get damage and you drop in the opponent face” the Reddit user revealed, after posting the following video of their Victory Royale.

PreyBeats also has a Hand Cannon in his inventory during the reveal of this clip, which is another Fortnite weapon which has come under scrutiny of late – with some players arguing that it may be overpowered.

As we have seen with Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney’s recent reveal of a Grappler exploit, Epic is known to treat these issues seriously and promptly if the community at large is aware of the issue – sometimes by removing items or weapons from the game.

Is one of the Rocket Launcher or the Hand Cannon going to be vaulted next?
