Tfue plagued by bugs in Fortnite World Cup qualifier: “This game is so shit”

Fortnite professional player Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney lost his cool after falling victim of a number of bugs during the latest World Cup qualifier.

The Fortnite World Cup grand finals take place on July 26-28 in New York, with 100 players from around the world set to battle it out in a solo tournament where the winner will receive a whopping $3 million.

Unlike the actual tournament, qualifiers for the event have been held online, giving everyone the chance to compete for life-changing prize money alongside some of the top professional players in the game.

$30 million will be on offer at the Fortnite World Cup grand finals.

As a result, there have been numerous issues which have been a constant headache for players, most recently Tfue, who encountered issues despite moving to a brand-new setup to lower his ping.

While attempting to shadow bomb into the safe zone, the 21-year-old became stuck, allowing an enemy to take a free shot with the combat shotgun. Now low on health, Tfue was eventually eliminated after other players targeted his box.

“My game fucking crashed,” he fumed. “What the fuck is that? This game is so shit. How can a game be this shit?!”

It wasn’t the only issue the former FaZe Clan member ran into as he was eliminated due to an audio issue which has plagued the game for months.

With numerous players spraying at his wall and floor, he received no audio cue for another enemy behind him who easily secured the elimination, leaving Tfue visibly frustrated.

Fortunately for the Twitch star, he is already qualified for the solo grand finals, guaranteeing him at least $50,000 in prize money.

However, he is yet to qualify for the duo event alongside long-term partner Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lapore with just one more week remaining to book their place in New York.
