TSM announce new Fortnite pro ahead of Epic’s $30 million World Cup
Team SoloMid (TSM) have announced the signing of highly coveted Fortnite player Vinny to join their competitive ranks.
TSM made a massive statement of intent back in December when they added Anthony ‘ZexRow’ Colandro. Ever since, rumors have circulated that his long-term duo partner would be joining the team as well.
With Vinny ‘Vinny1x’ Gerald Gilgan continuing to perform consistently well at recent tournaments in both duos and solos, he now joins the official TSM Fortnite team.
The 17-year-old ranks amongst the top earning players in the game thanks to his consistent high placings at recent tournaments. During his first ever event, he took home a whopping $107,500 after finishing third in the Fortnite Fall Skirmish Grand Finals at TwitchCon alongside Zexrow. The pair won the final game in dramatic fashion and narrowly lost second place to FaZe Nate Hill and FaZe Funkbomb.
Vinny also placed in the money during the Fortnite Winter Royale in December and earned $10,000 for his finishing in 12th during the recent Secret Skirmish solo tournament.

“It has always been a dream of mine to join one of the best organizations in the gaming industry,” Gilgan said. “I’ve always seen TSM do great things in every game such as League, PUBG etc. I can’t wait to represent TSM in the upcoming tourneys and give it my all.”
The signing shows that TSM still means business in competitive Fortnite as they now possess one of the most consistent duos in the game. They will have the first chance to compete together under the TSM banner at ESL Katowice this weekend looking for a slice of the $500,000 prize pool.
TSM’s full competitive roster now consists of Myth, Cowboy, Kaysid and Cloud. With many of their duos forming recently, it won’t be long before they started placing high at events.
