TSM’s Daequan Reveals What He Likes and Dislikes About Fortnite’s Season 5 Changes
The life of a professional esports player can be severely affected by the changes made by developers to their particular game.
TSM Daequan is one of the biggest names in the Fortnite community and lives alongside three other pro players in the Team Solomid house in California.
The highly entertaining streamer has a history of being blunt when it comes to saying how he feels about changes to Fortnite, and he’s now provided his feedback on the changes made for Season 5.
Fortnite’s weekly updates are one of the reasons the game has become so popular, but with the development team in a constant quest to balance the gameplay, while also attempting to introduce new weapons, often people don’t agree.
Just over 24 hours after Season 5’s update introduced golf carts and various weapon changes, Daequan Tweeted out his thoughts on what he likes, and what needs to be improved.
Thoughts: Golf Carts are dope. Fast rotations & drifting is fun. Map changes are pretty cool, rifts are nice for rotations as well so you have less time running around aimlessly. Bring double shotty back it wasn't even that good; Was just fun. Pump delay isn't justified anymore.

He continued by explaining that he’d like to see more mats when farming, and doubled down on his stance about the changes to the shotgun.
ALSO: Buff mats per hit. Additionally, this weapons patch promotes the opposite of diversity. It's very bland. Taking out sacrificing something in order to run double shotty literally just makes mostly everyone use the same loadout. Shotty Smg > Double shotty for a long time now.
