Where to find Weapon Cases in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3

Here’s where you can find every Weapon Case in Fortnite during Chapter 5 Season 3, including all the exact locations for the cases on the Battle Royale island map.

Fortnite has released its highly-anticipated Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration, which centers around the Cursed Sails event. To earn exclusive pirate-themed rewards, players have been tasked with completing various quests and one of these requires you to “Pilfer weapons from weapon cases.”

To complete the Pirate Code Five quest released on July 27, you will need to find and obtain 10 weapons from these cases. So, here’s how to get them.

What is a Weapon Case in Fortnite?

A Weapon Case is a form of gun container added to Fortnite at the start of Chapter 5. They contain rare guns that are all modified with attachments and, depending on which weapons you get, vary with each match.

It is therefore valuable to know the whereabouts of each Weapon Case in Fortnite to help you get stocked up on high-tier loot straight off the rip.

Where to find Weapon Cases in Fortnite?

To find Weapon Cases in Fortnite, you will need to head to one of 13 locations across the Battle Royale island.

Here are all the exact Weapon Case locations on the map:

Every Weapon Case shown above will always spawn in the same place each match. However, there are two different types of Weapon Case locations. There are Weapon Cases found inside secret rooms at different POI locations or landmarks and those that are locked inside Weapon Bunkers.

The island map above showcases each of the different locations, using Weapon Bunker icons and red markers to distinguish between each type.

There are four locations across the map that all feature a secret room containing three Weapon Cases. Unlike Weapon Bunkers, you can access these straight away and throughout your Battle Royale match.

You will just need to find the door or use your pickaxe to break down the surrounding wall to gain entry to them.

Here are all the four Weapon Case locations inside secret rooms:

• Inside the basement of the building furthest east at Sandy Steppes.
• At the Reclaimed Villa landmark northwest of Sandy Steppes.
• Inside a room located on the first floor of Rebel’s Roost.
• At the Slumberyard directly east of Classy Courts across the water.

Weapon Bunkers contain two sets of Weapon Cases, giving players five in total to access and pilfer weapons from. Despite them having more cases, these will stay locked until the third storm circle appears during your match, which will take around 10 minutes.

Here are the nine Weapon Case locations inside Weapon Bunkers:

• South of the Nitrodrome arena at the Wreckmill landmark.
• Just south of Pleasant Piazza between two trees.
• West of Mount Olympus nearby to the Pantheon Path.
• At the Dumpenhausen landmark in between Reckless Railways and Mount Olympus.
• North of Pleasant Piazza on the other side of the bridge.
• Southwest of The Underworld POI towards the edge of the map.
• West of Lavish Lair just north of Piney Pumps.
• East of Lavish Lair on the other side of the water.
• Northeast of Reckless Railways.

How to search a Weapon Case in Fortnite

To search a Weapon Case in Fortnite, just walk up to them and hold down your interact button or break the gun cases with your Pickaxe. This will then allow you to pick up the rare weapons they contain.

Once you have obtained 10 weapons from 10 different Weapon Cases, you will have completed the “Pilfer weapons from Weapon Cases” quest.

Completing this Pirates of the Caribbean Pirate Code Five challenge will earn you 5,000 XP and further your overall quest progress to help you finish the Cursed Sails event pass.
