YouTuber Creates an Incredible ‘Stranger Things’ Themed Trailer in Fortnite
Over the past few months, Fortnite: Battle Royale has transcended beyond the world of online gaming and become a cultural phenomenon.
No longer simply a video game, aspects of Fortnite can frequently be seen on clothing, in popular media, and even at sporting events, where professional athletes use the game’s emotes as celebrations.
One trend that has become quite popular has been the use of the game’s relatively new replay system to recreate moments from popular movies, TV shows, and music videos.
Keeping in line with this trend, YouTuber ‘Smitt’ has created a trailer in Fortnite themed after the award-winning and highly popular science fiction-horror Netflix series called ‘Stranger Things.’

Using the various Fortnite characters and weapons at his disposal, Smitt did a remarkable job of infusing his video with the classic elements of the popular show.
The movement and angles of the camerawork, the dark settings of the scenes, and the iconic theme music playing in the background, all contributed to producing a true Stranger Things and Fortnite collaboration.
Perhaps the most incredible moment was when the words ‘Victory Royale’ blared across the screen in dark red, very much resembling the series’ main title image.
