Black Myth Wukong max level: How to level quickly
Game SciencePlayers need to level up in order to get stronger and unlock abilities in Black Myth: Wukong, and to do so you’ll need to use some handy tricks.
Sure, great weapons, armor, and some powerful spells or abilities will certainly make a tricky boss battle easier, but none of those are much use without the Sparks or the levels to back it up. Each level grants you a Spark, which lets you improve things like your Health, Stamina, Spells, Mana, Focus, and so much more.
So, with that in mind, here’s the max level for the Destined One in Black Myth Wukong as well as how to level up quickly.
What’s the max level?
The max level for Black Myth: Wukong is 342, meaning there’s plenty of room to increase your abilities and gain more Sparks. The 342 resembles the number of Sparks you need to unlock all skills, and is also the amount of years Sun Wukong is predicted to live in Journey to the West.
As such, you’ll likely reach max level pretty late into the game, unless you grind through enemies to get more powerful, which is often useful if you’re finding a particular boss tricky.
How to level up fast & get more Sparks
There are many ways to level up quickly, and it can be pretty useful given the extra Sparks you get for doing so.
To get more Sparks and level up fast, we recommend doing the following:
- Grinding through easier enemies
- Looking for Meditation spots
- Battling bosses
The most efficient way, albeit the more repetitive solution, is to find a Shrine with enemies nearby so you can rest, grind through them, and then rest again. We recommend heading to Rockrest Flat in Yellow Wind Ridge or a simpler location Outside the Forest in The Forest of Wolves. They can be monotonous but it’s a great way to get a few more levels.
Then, if it’s Sparks you’re looking for, the best option is to head to Meditation Spots. There are three in Black Wind Mountain, and six in Yellow Wind Ridge to find. Each grants you one extra Spark and will rest you, so they’re worth finding.
Lastly, and likely the most obvious is to simply battle bosses and their minions. Each fight grants you more XP and bosses are usually the ones to level you up multiple times. While players can simply run away from the minions to get to the bosses, fighting and killing everything in sight is a surefire way to level up fast.
So there you have it, that’s the max level for the Destined One in Black Myth Wukong, as well as how you can level up quickly and easily. While working through all the enemies and adventure, be sure to check out all the game’s achievements and the best stance to use.
