Black Myth Wukong players are getting “bodied” by one of the game’s first mini-bosses
Game SciencePlayers are getting “bodied” by one of the first mini-bosses in Black Myth Wukong but refuse to back down.
Black Myth Wukong has already taken the video game world by storm despite only releasing on August 20, 2024. Within 24 hours of its release, the game rocketed up the Steam’s charts and even broke player count records.
Part of what has made Black Myth Wukong an instant hit is its immersive gameplay and difficulty; the title is already drawing major comparisons to FromSoftware’s Elden Ring and Dark Souls.
While the challenge may be enjoyable for some gamers, others are already struggling to battle their way through the game, with one early boss particularly drawing out frustration from players.
Just outside the Forest of the Wolves, a location players will encounter in the early hours of the run-through, a mini-boss battle will be available. The enemy in question is known within the game as the Wandering Wight, a small creature that is identifiable thanks to its large head.
It is one of the toughest foes you will face early on. The Wandering Wight’s hard-to-avoid attacks deal heavy damage and coupled with a surplus of health at its disposal, this creature is a brutal fight for any and all.
So much so that across social media, Black Myth Wukong players have been voicing their frustration at being unable to take the Wight down.
On X, one player asked, “Am I the only one getting bodied by the Wandering Wight in Wukong?” Other gamers then joined in to share their own struggles with the battle.
Another added that they are “right there with you bro” and admitted that they are “currently getting [their] a** kicked” by the mini-boss. A third commented, “Just beat it, holy f**k. Think I got here at level 4 and now I’m at level 9 lol sheesh.”
