Cities Skylines 2 Milestones explained: All rewards & unlocks
Paradox InteractiveCities Skylines 2 has officially arrived and budding city builders are setting out into the brave new world Colossal Order has created.
Though many things are different this time around, the milestone system remains to provide one facet of progression. Though it will be recognizable to players of the first game, there are quite a few extra elements to take into account.
The milestone system is designed to be used in conjunction with the new development trees, with the former opening up new branches of research in the latter.
One of the other major changes sees XP accrued towards the next milestone gained from multiple sources instead of just population size. Progression in Cities Skylines 2 is also granted based on the construction of city service buildings, signature buildings, roads and overall citizen happiness.
