Midst podcast

Midst, the popular fantasy audio drama by Critical Role, Metapigeon, and Third Person has revealed its upcoming final season, bringing the dramatic tales to its conclusion in the not-so-distant future.

Following Lark, Phineas, and Moc Weepe, fans are taken into a mystical world filled with danger, questionable morals, and some hilarious improvised moments. Naturally, with all these features, both Critical Role fans and podcast lovers alike adored the first and second seasons of Midst.

However, that story is now coming to an end with the final season now being announced and given a release date. Luckily, however, it’s also come with an exciting new trailer, teasing a few surprises and details on what’s to come.

Critical Role reveals season three Midst release date

As revealed by Critical Role, Midst will be seeing its final season air on February 14, at 5 am PST for podcast feeds and 10 am PST for those turning in on YouTube.

You can watch its trailer below for a quick recap and some teasers about what’s coming up.

Thanks to the trailer video and teasers, we know that the third season will start with the citizens of Midst continuing to rebuild Stationary Hill, with Phineas and Lark finding themselves unlikely accomplices after spotting a new incarnation of Moc Weepe as they hunt for a dangerous outlaw.

It’s certainly sad to see Midst go, but after two acclaimed seasons and plenty of hype for the third, many fans are eager to see what’s coming up for the podcast, with their favorite characters getting whatever ending they choose or deserve.

While we have no confirmation regarding any new stories, we do know that Metapigeon and Critical Role intend to continue their partnership with Third Person. However, this is unfortunately the conclusion of Midst as a whole.
