In the days since it arrived, Enshrouded tore up the PC market via early access, raking in one million copies sold in the first four days since it launched.

The loop here is simple as Enshrouded thrusts players into an open-world survival title boasting co-op and multiplayer modes. With the focus on cooperative play, it begs the question of if crossplay and, cross-progression are featured in-game.

Does Enshrouded have cross-play & cross-progression?

Unfortunately, crossplay and cross-progression are not features in Enshrouded. That’s because Enshrouded is only available on PC via Steam, not because the developers didn’t want to implement said features.

As mentioned, Enshrouded is only on PC, although it will launch on other platforms sometime later this year or when completed, as mentioned in the game’s FAQs. When Enshrouded hits other platforms, there may be a possibility crossplay and cross-progression are involved, at least between Xbox and PC, based on a reply from Keen Studios back in 2023. That said, it’s not a guarantee.

However, until then, we’ll have to wait and see the path Keen Games follows. We’ll be sure to update you as more information comes out.
