Dragon ball sparking zero leaks

With Dragon Ball Sparking Zero being the Budokai Tenkaichi 4 we never got, the Dragon Ball fandom has high hopes for the upcoming fighting game. New leaks claim that a ton of old favorites are coming to the roster, and the game is shaping up to have a wealth of content on release.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero has had its official reveal and some of its roster shown off (most of which were different versions of Vegeta and Goku), but there’s still a lot of information up in the air about this release.

Considering Budokai Tenkaichi 3 came out in 2007, the series has been long-dormant. While Sparking Zero isn’t a Budokai game by name, it brings back similar gameplay to what players fell in love with all those years ago.

According to some new leaks, we’ll be getting a lot more information about it in the coming months. These leaks also revealed some new information about the roster and what we can expect to be playable.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero leaks explained

These leaks cover a lot of ground, revealing possible new characters from the Dragon Ball series & movies that haven’t been shown, new (and missing) features in comparison to prior entries, and a lot more.

We’ve even got images of some of the new character models and unconfirmed characters like Dragon Ball GT’s Super Saiyan 4 Goku. Bear in mind that everything leaked is subject to change and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Here’s the most important info that’s been weaned from the leaks:

  • Dragon Ball GT characters will be in the game, as well as fusion characters like Vegito and Gotenks
  • A full story mode will be in the game
  • The game will get a number of trailers leading up to a late 2024/early 2025 release date
  • Dragon Ball characters from the movies are on the table, with the leak citing Gohan Beast as a possibility
  • Split-screen won’t be in the game due to pressure from Microsoft and Sony not to include the feature
  • Xbox Series S is causing development issues, a problem that’s common for many dev teams looking to put their games on Xbox consoles

With some new roster additions here (most of which are, funny enough, just more versions of Vegeta and Goku), there’s even more to be excited about with Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Even if we won’t be getting the game for a while still.
