FM24’s beta has arrived and the full launch isn’t too far away for consoles either. Excited to get stuck into the new game fans are wondering if Football Manager 2024 supports cross-play and cross-progression, and we’ve got the answer.

Coming off the back of FM23, the latest release promises to make some big changes. Be it improvements to signing either promising youngsters or the game’s top talents plus the reworked set pieces, Football Manager 2024 has plenty to offer.

But it’s not just the new features that get players attached to their saves, it’s the stories and tales of success that can even be shared alongside friends.

Hoping to share those stories with as many people as possible fans are praying FM24 supports both cross-play and cross-progression, but is that the case?

Does FM24 have cross-play?

Football Manager 2024 supports cross-play between PlayStation consoles and Xbox consoles as well as between the Epic Games and Steam versions on PC.

However, cross-play between the console and PC versions will not be available as they are different games with varying features.

You can face off against your friends on different platforms as long as you are both on the same version of FM24.

Does FM24 have cross-progression saves?

Cross-progression in Football Manager 2024 is not supported meaning console players can’t transfer their Xbox and PlayStation saves between platforms.

Despite this, you are able to transfer your save file on the PC version between Epic Games and Steam, albeit with some extra work involved.

Furthermore, a big feature of FM24 across both console and PC is the ability to bring saves forward from the previous game allowing you to continue your story. Saves can be brought forward from FM23 to FM24 and from FM23 Console to FM24 Console.

That’s everything you need to know about cross-play and cross-progression in Football Manager 2024. You can look forward to more FM24 content in the coming weeks.
