Rumors surrounding the highly sought-after PC version of Ghost of Tsushima are heating up. We could see an announcement in the coming days according to a reliable insider.

Ghost of Tsushima is one of the last remaining PlayStation console exclusives from the latter half of the PS4’s lifecycle to remain unavailable on PC. That doesn’t mean the property has been quiet of course.

The game has a film adaptation in the works helmed by John Wick mastermind Chad Stahelski and a Ghost of Tsushima sequel has long been anticipated. Despite this, that PC release has always seemed just out of reach, until now that is.

Initially reported by VGC, Xbox Era’s Nick Baker has suggested that Ghost of Tsishima’s PC release could be announced as early as this week. Baker laid out what he had heard in a post on X.

Baker has previously been privy to insider info from Sony and PlayStation and reported accurate info ahead of schedule. His most recent feat was predicting the latest State of Play almost perfectly.

“I’m hearing that we might be getting something about the Ghost of Tsushima PC port pretty soon,” Baker posted on X. “Maybe around the 5th?”

Baker confirmed that he was referring to March 5, 2024, when questioned in the replies. If Baker is correct, we could know the status of Ghost of Tsushima’s PC release in the next 24 hours.

The PC version of Ghost of Tsushima will likely be the Director’s Cut that was released on PS5. Assuming it follows the same trend as Horizon Forbidden West which will see its Complete Edition launch on PC later this month.

Whether or not the coming announcement is a straight-up release or information on the eventual launch date for the game is currently unknown.

On the plus side, it seems like we won’t have to wait too much longer to find out.
