As regular GTA Online players will know, Rockstar provides a new update each week, adding or switching around content. This usually includes login bonuses, boosted rewards for specific missions, featured races, and a whole lot more.
The past 12 months have been a big one for Rockstar Games and Grand Theft Auto with tons of drama and news involving GTA 6. The long-awaited sequel was revealed last year, as Rockstar finally dropped a trailer. However, things have gone quiet for now.
We’re still waiting for more info on the GTA 6 front, and the GTA Online follow-up, but until that time, let’s see what’s been added in the most recent update on December 18, 2024. These are the full patch notes.
GTA Online weekly update patch notes (December 19)
New GTA Online content added
The last few weeks of GTA Online updates have been chock full of new content – including new police cars, the Wildlife Photography Challenge, a drip-feed of new jobs, the addition of Drag Races, and a brand new heist – The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid.
Last week, the Agents of Sabotage update dropped, giving you a new business to own in the form of the Darnell Bros Garment Factory. From here, you’ll team up with Pavel and ex-FIB agent Jodi Marshall to take on some big jobs. And, of course, there are new vehicles to own too.
This week, it’s all about Christmas with free gifts on offer. However, you can now get your hands on the highly-anticipated Invetero Coquette D10 Pursuit. It’ll set you back $5,620,000 on Warstock, so be ready.
Prize Ride Challenge Vehicle
This week’s GTA Online Prize Ride car to acquire is the Emperor Vectre. You’ll need to place top five in the LS Car Meet Series for four days in a row to get your hands on it.
Lucky Wheel podium reward vehicle: Western Powersurge
Rockstar GamesYou can pick up the Western Powersurge this week as it is featured on the Diamond Casino Lucky Wheel as the reward. You could get it for free if your luck is in – or you know how to win every time.
Which GTA Online missions have the highest payout?
As of December 19, 2024, the GTA Online mission with the highest payout is still the Cayo Perico Heist. However, it’s not as lucrative as it once was – much to the annoyance of players.
3-2x GTA$ and RP opportunities
There are a few 3-2x GTA$ and RP opportunities this week. The bonuses for Taxi Work are gone but, hopefully, the lucrative 5x bonus will return soon.
