2019’s A Plague Tale: Innocence is one of Xbox Game Pass’ premier offerings, giving players a strong narrative and unique mechanics that make for quite a special experience. Now, Asobo Studios and Focus Entertainment have revealed that the game’s sequel, A Plague Tale: Requiem, is launching on October 18, 2022, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

It will no doubt be one of Fall 2022’s most anticipated games, but will Asobo’s action-adventure stealth sequel launch Day 1 on Xbox Game Pass? Or will it be coming to the service at a later date?

Thankfully, subscribers can look forward to downloading and playing A Plague Tale: Requiem for free through Xbox Game Pass when the game launches on October 18, 2022.

Focus Entertainment revealed new gameplay footage of A Plague Tale: Requiem alongside information that Asobo is with NVIDIA “to add NVIDIA RTX features” to the game.

Additionally, Focus Entertainment debuted a new collector’s edition that comes with a statue featuring Amicia and Hugo, the game’s two main characters.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers looking to get caught up on the narrative before Requiem releases should certainly look into playing the original, given it’s free with the service.

Fans can look forward to A Plague Tale: Requiem on Xbox Game Pass, as the game should be available for instant access when October 18, 2022 rolls around.
