Arknights: Endfield is an upcoming 3D real-time RPG that aims to deliver a new experience for both anime fans and those familiar with the previous game’s world. Unlike its predecessor, Endfield aims to deliver a fully immersive 3D experience that focuses on real-time strategy and RPG elements.

In fact, Arknights: Endfield shares a lot more similarities to Genshin Impact in its combat and flashy animations. Because of this, many players will be wondering whether Arknights: Endfield is free to play and if it will feature any gacha elements.

Yes, Arknights: Endfield will be free to play when it releases. While we don’t know much about the game, we do know that it will be available on PC, iOS, and Android. However, while Arknights: Endfield is free to play, it will feature microtransactions that enable players to purchase premium currency.

Yes, Arknights: Endfield a gacha game. According to early Aplha gameplay discussion posted on Reddit, players must roll on banners to unlock weapons to use with their favorite characters. This is fairly similar to other free to play games, like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail. 

Both of these games require players to either purchase or earn currency to spend on banners. However, unlike HoYoverse gacha games, alpha players have indicated that the gacha mechanic is only available for weapons and not characters. 

Of course, it’s still early days and the developers could make major adjustments to Arknights: Endfielfd’s gacha elements before release.
