Palworld, often referred to as ‘Pokemon with guns’ quickly rose to the top of Steam Charts when it first released in early access on January 19, 2024. With 100 Pals to collect and battle with, unique base-building mechanics, and a vast open world to explore, there’s a lot of great content to enjoy in Palworld.

Moreover, with the addition of a new island called Sakurajima along with new Pals, it’s clear that players have a lot to look forward to as the game continues to receive content updates.

That said, those playing on PlayStation may be curious to know if they’ll be able to jump into the fun anytime soon. So, here’s everything we know about whether or not Palworld will be coming to the Sony devices.

Yes, Palworld is available on PS5. It’s unclear if it’ll ever come to PS4, though. It was announced during Sony’s State of Play on September 24, 2024 and was shadow-dropped for the console, being made available for purchase immediately.

Palworld was dropping hints regarding its launch on PlayStation, as revealed in a post on X. Community manager Bucky started the post with black, green, and white hearts surrounding the “Palworld” text, followed by a separate text below with an additional two blue hearts.

Currently, the game is available to play on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the PS5 in early access. So, those looking to delve into the open-world survival game will need to pick up a copy on the above platforms.

It’s important to note that Palworld is still in Early Access, meaning the game is not fully complete and could receive several changes upon its full release. In fact, the devs have already stated that certain features like PvP and more Pals will be added later in development.
