Persona 3 Reload fans seem impressed by a brand-new mod that introduces beloved protagonist FeMC to the game.

Female protagonist Kotone Shiomi, otherwise known as FeMC, first joined the franchise in 2009’s Persona 3 Portable for PSP. She quickly became a fan-favorite character who many hoped would return for the recently released Persona 3 Reload.

As such, there was much consternation among community members when news circulated that Reload wouldn’t include Portable content or FeMC.

One group of fans made it their mission to rectify this wrong, specifically by designing a mod that added FeMC as a playable character. Dubbed ‘Femc-Reloaded-Project,’ the mod in question is now available for download on GitHub. Needless to say, Persona faithful couldn’t be more ecstatic.

Persona 3 Reload fans applaud new FeMC mod

YouTuber Faz has shared footage of the FeMC mod in action, showcasing the astonishing amount of detail that went into making her a fully realized character.

The PC mod completely revamps Persona 3 Reload‘s standard blue color scheme, changing to the color most associated with Kotone Shiomi – pink. As some fans have pointed out, the modding team even went the extra mile to add in skirt physics.

Notably, the mod’s user interface still boasts imagery of Reload protagonist Makoto, but players seem pleased with the changes nonetheless.

One happy fan replied to the post from Faz saying the following, “It’s amazing how fast they were able to mod FeMC into the game. Now I wish ATLUS would actually release a version of P3R with her one day…”

Someone else in the thread added, “Is a sick mod, I really do feel bad for people who wanted the FemC in Reload…”

This fan-made FeMC mod may serve as the only way that Persona 3 Reload players can experience the game from Kotone’s perspective.
