Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones has plenty of contracts for players to take on, however, The Relics of the Past is one of the more memorable ones due to how tricky it can be. Here’s all the information you need to help you navigate and solve this particular mystery.

Contracts in Skull and Bones can vary hugely and knowing how to do one does not necessarily give the information for another. Some act as drivers for the main campaign, while others are more like side missions that provide nice bonuses or loot.

Equally, the rewards they offer and the methods of completion are all hugely varied. Some are worth pursuing before others and happily, the Relics of the Past is one of those.

Here’s everything you need to know to obtain and complete Relics of the Past in the game.

Where to find the Relics of the Past contract

To pick up the Relics of the Past in Skull and Bones, head to the Vorona Falls pirate outpost. It should be one of the first locations that you head to as a player, and it can be found west of Sainte-Anne.

From there, talk to the Sea People Merchant, and he will provide a Sea People Relic Clue Treasure Map.

How to solve the Relics of the Past contract

The Sea People Relic Clue Treasure Map has a statement printed that reads as follows:

“One of our camps was raided by the Fara at Red Isle, Tenina Coast, in Fort Louis, and our brothers and sisters returned to the Sea. We left our items there for fear of another raid, the relic included.”

The location is clear from the description and a short trip south from Vorona Falls.

Upon arrival, the game should deliver a pop-up letting you know that you’re in the right place. When disembarked, immediately head left on the beach until you come across a pair of crosses pitched into the sand. A prompt will allow you to dig and collect the item needed from the contract.

From there, it’s simply a case of heading up to Palisade Bay. This can be found on the northernmost island in this strip, just west of The Giant’s Leap.

Return the Sea People Relic and collect your rewards.
