Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League pre-order items not appearing and players are irate

Suicide Squad fans have taken to social media to express frustration over incomplete, and in some cases, outright missing skin bundles that came with the game’s pre-order.

Suicide Squad officially launches on February 2, although early-access for those who pay extra is already live. The action shooter from Rocksteady Studios follows a crew of Batman’s notable foes, including Harley Quinn and Deadshot, and has fostered hype and controversy in equal measure.

While there’s no doubt fans are eager to experience a DC game from the villain’s perspective, there’s just as much apprehension about its live service model and its shooter mechanics. Not to mention the troubles with the early access launch itself.

Now, the latest issue to spark discussion is the skin bundles included with the game’s pre-order.

Fans who pre-ordered the game soon noticed their exclusive skin bundles seemed incomplete and in some examples, even completely missing.

“Even with the pre-order, it cost $40 to complete the Classic Harley Bundle,” One user posted to Reddit, sharing a screenshot showing the amount of LuthorCoin required to purchase the complete bundles that were spotlighted as pre-order bonuses.

LuthorCoin is the in-game currency, used to purchase cosmetic items. Players can purchase around 2,000 LuthorCoin for roughly $20 USD.

“So, my $100 version of the game doesn’t give me access to the full version of a skin bundle?” Another user asked in a separate thread discussing the same topic.

“I don’t even have the classic outfits showing for me still,” one user responded, explaining they’d contacted support to resolve the issue. However, several others soon chimed in to say they’d experienced the same issue.

“Most people can’t even access the pre-order or deluxe edition bonus content at the moment. We paid $100 to be guinea pigs for bugs,” commented one frustrated user.

Rocksteady did aim to address the downtime from their early launch problems by providing players with free LuthorCoin to spend in game. Hopefully, they’ll find a similar way to address the latest concerns from those who pre-ordered.
