This game pushes you to your limits which means it is not for the faint-hearted ones. However, even the bravest among you will need the help of others to make it out of Murkoff.

Does The Outlast Trials have crossplay?

Yes, The Outlast Trials does have crossplay across all platforms. It is currently available on PC, Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. On PC, you can purchase it on both Steam and Epic Games Store.

With the release of version 1.0, Red Barrels enabled the crossplay feature which means you can play across all platforms. During the early access period, you could only play on PC, but now your console friends can join you and help survive Murkoff.

How to play with friends in The Outlast Trials

There are quite a few ways to play with friends in The Outlast Trials. These are the steps you need to follow if you want to play with friends:

• Select a Trial and open up the invite menu
• Click on one of the plus buttons that you will see in the empty silhouettes of players
• A new screen will open up where you will get to Quick invite friends from Steam (only Steam players)
• If you want to invite console friends, you can also do that from a list of those whom you added
• You can find your friends list in the second tab after the Group in the invite section
• If you want to add a friend, click on the Add Friend option at the bottom of the screen
• The Add Friend option shows up only after you have clicked on the plus buttons mentioned above
• You will be shown your Friend code and a space to add someone else’s
• Type the Friend Code and add them for the person to show up in the Friends tab

You can also play with random people online. You can do this by clicking on Group Finder. You can find the Group Finder button on the bottom right corner before clicking the plus buttons on the silhouettes.
