WWE 2K24 players make iconic meme top downloaded creation
Kurt Angle/2K GamesWWE 2K24 players have turned an iconic meme into a top downloaded creation in the latest WWE game.
WWE 2K24 is set to be released worldwide on March 8, but Deluxe Edition customers can already play the latest WWE game. The current release features 40 years of Wrestlemania, a completely new MyGM mode, and the return of the MyRise career mode.
In our WWE 2K24 review, we described it as a “raucous ride” since it reintroduces Smackdown vs Raw to WWE gamers from the THQ era. The new title also provides plenty of customization options for players, allowing them to construct their own roster, entrance, and community creations for a larger player base to use.
These community creations may then be downloaded and used in WWE 2K24’s online lobby. One such community creation transforms a classic meme into a crowd sign, and it is now the most downloaded creation since the deluxe release of the game.
Kurt Angle meme turns into a crowd sign creation in WWE 2K24
According to X user beastmxmllnr, the most downloaded community creation on WWE 2K24 is a crowd sign featuring the iconic Kurt Angle stare meme from TikTok. The meme is well-known among social media users as a sarcastic stare accompanied by a funny text stamped on it.
Now the meme has been turned into a crowd sign that players can assign to the in-game crowd to hold up during a match. However, shortly after this was shared, another creation took the top spot but this remains one of the most downloaded creations in the first few hours of the deluxe edition release.
Coming across the absurdity of this news, several WWE 2K24 shared their thoughts, with one user saying, “I’m surprised about the Vonce memes that are allowed on there.” Another chimed in, “LOL I’m going to get this. I rage quit during showcase mode I’ll be back in a few hours.”
Users who don’t have the game yet showed their enthusiasm by commenting, “Wait I can make custom crowd signs now? Oh my god, I need this game.”
Another user said, “Kurt is just a treasure that keeps on giving.”
