Ningguang abilities in Genshin Impact
Normal Attack: Sparkling Scatter
- Normal Attack: Shoots gems that deal Geo DMG. Upon hit, this grants Ningguang 1 Star Jade.
- Charged Attack: Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to fire off a giant gem that deals Geo DMG. If Ningguang has any Star Jades, unleashing a Charged Attack will cause the Star Jades to be fired at the enemy as well, dealing additional DMG.
- Plunging Attack: Gathering the might of Geo, Ningguang plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all enemies in her path. Deals AoE Geo DMG upon impact with the ground.
Elemental Skill: Jade Screen
Ningguang creates a Jade Screen out of gold, obsidian and her great opulence, dealing AoE Geo DMG. Jade Screen Blocks enemy projectiles. Endurance scales based on Ningguang’s Max HP. Jade Screen is considered a Geo Construct and can be used to block certain attacks, but cannot be climbed. Only one Jade Screen may exist at any one time.
Elemental Burst: Starshatter
Gathering a great number of gems, Ningguang scatters them all at once, sending homing projectiles at her enemies that deals massive Geo DMG. If Starshatter is cast when a Jade Screen is nearby, the Jade Screen will fire additional gem projectiles at the same time.

Best Ningguang weapons in Genshin Impact
The best weapon choice for Ningguang is the Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds. This 5-star Catalyst will increase her Movement SPD by 10% alongside an 8% Elemental DMG Bonus every four seconds when in battle.
Another 5-star option is the Skyward Atlas to improve Ningguang’s Elemental DMG Bonus by 12% in addition to possibly dealing 160% ATK DMG once every 30 seconds.
If you haven’t pulled either 5-star weapon, we recommend placing the 4-star Catalyst Solar Pearl on Ningguang. You can obtain this as a Battle Pass Reward instead of getting lucky on banners. Best Ningguang team comp
We recommend using Ningguang as a Main DPS alongside characters like Yelan, Zhongli, and Bennett. Zhongli can provide shields to the party, which creates Geo Resonance with Ningguang to deal more damage.
Bennett’s Elemental Burst will also grant his teammates an attack buff, with Yelan dealing off-field damage. You could also replace Yelan with Albedo and Zhongli with Xiangling if you wish to do so.
