Genshin Impact player reveals why they “regret buying” Ganyu skin

The Ganyu skin has proven popular amongst the Genshin Impact community, with many praising its design. However, one Traveler has revealed one problem that has made them regret buying Ganyu’s alternate costume.

Ganyu is one of the most popular characters in Genshin Impact. Not only is she known for her high-damage AoE Bow shots, but her design has made her a popular character amongst artists and cosplayers alike. 

So, when HoYoveerse released a Ganyu skin in the 4.4 update, many fans were incredibly excited. However, one player has revealed a major problem that has made them regret purchasing the game’s new cosmetic.

“I had Ganyu for a long time (ever since her 1st rerun), but I didn’t really enjoy using her much. I can’t believe how much a simple outfit change boosted my enjoyment of playing her,” explained one player. 

“But here’s the problem: Since I always want her to be visible, I also use her for exploration, and now even in my sleep I could still hear ‘Next on the agenda!’ I didn’t notice before how much she used that voice line. Who thought it was a good idea to use that as her dashing voice line, considering how much we dash when exploring?” 

Other Ganyu mains have also noticed an increase in her dash voice lines, with many noting how they now want HoYoverse to add options to lower the frequency of them. “Time between idle lines–would be nice to have a slider or an off toggle.”

Meanwhile, others found that changing languages helped alleviate the issue somewhat. “I changed the in-game language from English to Japanese because I didn’t want to hear that anymore.”

However, it seems Ganyu isn’t the only one who has been a little more vocal when it comes to her dashing voice lines. Other players have noted how the frequency of voice lines appears to happen at a specific place. 

“Have you been using her to explore Chenyu Vale? There’s a weird bug going on there where every single time you jump or sprint the character will say a voice line instead of just saying one once in a while,” explained one player.

If this is the case, hopefully, HoYoverse can fix this bug sooner rather than later.
