GTA Online is giving away $1 million and here’s how to get it

Rockstar Games will be giving away free in-game money to GTA Online players, and here’s how you can get a slice of that action.

Like the real world, money is very important to have in GTA Online as you’ll need it to grow your empire, whether that’s through buy new cars or owning the most expensive apartment in the game.

The amount given away by Rockstar is actually $2 million, but you would have had to logged into GTA Online between January 30 and February 5 for the first giveaway. While that ship has sailed, players still have an opportunity to earn another bundle of cash.

How to get $1 million for free in GTA Online

GTA Online just had its biggest month yet and it’s celebrating with free money.

For players to get their hands on some free money, all they have to do is log into GTA Online between February 6 and February 13. Once this is done, players will have the money deposited into their account within 72 hours.

It’s an excellent incentive for players to return to the game after a long hiatus. Grand Theft Auto still receives frequent updates, with the final patch of 2019 being the largest one yet. In fact, the reason behind these giveaways is because GTA Online just had its largest month ever in terms of player numbers, over the Christmas period.

The next major update will include new vehicles.

That’s no small feat for a game that launched all the way back in 2013 for last-gen consoles. With GTA 6 nowhere on the horizon, but rumored to exist, it appears Rockstar will continue to support the game.

For the fans out there who enjoy both GTA Online and Red Dead Redemption 2, you can actually claim some rewards in the wild west too.

Rockstar Games rewarded players after GTA Online recorded more players playing the game in December 2019 than ever before.

Players who log into Red Dead Online between now and February 10 will be able to get some free gear, so make sure you do that if you own the game.

The future is equally as bright for each title, but RDR2 might end up having a long lifespan at this point as we’re probably still years out from a sequel for that.
