GTA Online: New vehicles and Twitch Prime rewards in September 12 update

Connor Bennett

Rockstar Games have rolled out their newest update for GTA Online – giving fans a whole host new races, a new casino podium vehicle, and some juicy Twitch Prime bonuses.

GTA Online has been around and thriving since late 2013, allowing fans of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V title the chance to pit their skills against fellow players.

Be it through racing, deathmatches in the middle of downtown, or even a gambling trip to the Diamond Casino and Resort – there’s always something to do in GTA Online. That’s also helped by the developer’s continuous updates, which have become a lot more regular since the Casino opened.

So, let’s unpack everything from the September 12 changes.

The Diamond Casino has breath new life into GTA Online.

New vehicle: Benefactor Krieger

The Benefactor Krieger is the newest vehicle to hit the market in GTA Online as a part of the game’s ‘Krieger Week.’

The supercar, which can be purchased from Legendary Motorsport and has space for two players, will cost a hefty $2,875,000 – but at least you’ll be able to flaunt a Mercedes-AMG One-inspired vehicle around the cities mean streets.

The Benefactor Krieger immediately becomes one of the most expensive cars in GTA Online.

GTA Online racing series updated races

However, if you fork out for the Benefactor Krieger, you probably won’t want to get it all muddied up and dirty in the game’s newest races.

Rockstar has added the tracks of ‘Mudslide and ‘Troubled Waters’ to the racing series. The addition of these races also coincides with double rewards in both racing and stunt series.

Podium vehicle: Bravado Gauntlet Classic

That’s not all for the vehicular additions, though, as the developers have again switched up their Casino podium vehicle.

If you chance your arm on the daily lucky spin wheel, you’ll now have the chance to win a Bravado Gauntlet Classic Muscle Car, which was added to the game back in early August. It may look like the Gauntlet that you know and love, but it packs a bigger punch.

The Bravado Gauntlet Classic is now available on the Casino’s daily spin.

GTA Online’s Twitch Prime rewards

GTA Online is also continuing its benefits for active Twitch Prime members who have connected their accounts in the past.

Any active Twitch Prime member who linked their account to Rockstar Social Club before September 9 will receive The Diamond Casino & Resort’s Master Penthouse for free, as well as a 100% rebate on the Lago Zancudo Bunker – should they choose to buy it.

There are also discounts on the Ramp Buggy and the Phantom Wedge vehicles, and an additional 10% off on all the other discounts that will be listed below.

Twitch Prime members can take a discount on the insane Phantom Wedge vehicle.
