Helldivers 2 cheaters are already ruining games with this explosive hack

A Helldivers 2 player was left shocked after a cheater made short work of enemy Automatons, using unsavory tactics to bring justice and liberty to the galaxy.

Helldivers 2 is the latest game that has caught the gaming world by storm. In fact, the game has proven so popular, that even the CEO has advised fans not to buy it amid server woes. However, server issues aside, that hasn’t stopped plucky recruits and hardened veterans from uniting to defend Super Earth.

With its blend of adrenaline-fueled PvE combat, addictive progression tree, and high emphasis on team play, it’s not hard to see why so many players have been driven toward the third-person shooter. Unfortunately, like all popular video games, Helldivers has also attracted cheaters.

Helldivers 2 cheaters are already ruining games

Posting on the official Helldivers Reddit page, one player shared a clip of two troopers who appear to be using an unlimited ammo and fire rate hack for the Recoilless Rifle. This deadly launcher is known for its ability to destroy armored enemies, making it the perfect addition to a squad’s arsenal.

Despite being incredibly powerful, the weapon is both cumbersome and slow to use – requiring a support backpack for loading. This makes it pretty situational and you often need to use it sparingly to maximize its effectiveness.

Well, this wasn’t the case in the clip as the two players can be seen constantly barraging the Automaton enemies with never-ending waves of explosives. Both cheaters also don’t appear to be wearing the support backpack, which is needed for reloading.

As you can imagine, this completely trivializes the game’s intense combat and removes the risk of failing an extraction. While cheating in Helldivers appears to be rather scarce, if you do happen to see cheaters, be sure to report them in-game.
