Helldivers 2: How to get TR-40 Golden Eagle armor set early

Helldivers 2 took the world by storm when it launched in early 2024. Its chaotic co-op gameplay, variety of unique Stratagems, and distinct enemies to take down was a big recipe for success.
The Escalation of Freedom update is bringing even more content to the third-person shooter, including a new TR-40 Golden Eagle armor set. If you’re keen to try out the armor set right now, you can get it 48 hours early but there is a caveat.
How to get TR-40 Golden Eagle armor set early
To get the TR-40 Golden Eagle armor set 48 hours early, you simply need to tune into the 24-hour developer stream on Steam for at least 10 minutes.
However, it’s important to note that this method will only work for Steam players. You’ll have to be logged into your Steam account for the armor set to redeem once you’ve watched the stream for a minimum of 10 minutes.
The stream kicked off on August 6, 2024, at 2 AM PDT / 10 AM BST and will loop for 24 hours giving you plenty of time to jump in to get the armor.
Unfortunately, PS5 players won’t be able to get the armor set early, however, it will be sent out to all players for free on console from August 8, 2024.
With a host of new enemies and mission types coming to Helldivers 2 in the Escalation of Freedom update, the Golden Eagle armor should keep you nice and protected as you’re fighting for freedom so it’s well worth grabbing early if you can.
