Footage from the Helldivers 2 dev server showed several new weapons, armor sets, strategems, boosters & more that are coming to the game soon.

Helldivers 2’s boom in popularity upon launch has hundreds of thousands of players fighting the forces of evil across the galaxy, and people are already starting to unlock every weapon available after dozens of hours of grinding.

As a result, the most dedicated Helldivers 2 players are already looking for more to unlock. Considering the game’s somewhat slim offering of weapons, with only a few guns in each category at launch, it isn’t too surprising that people want more options.

Fortunately, the next Warbond will be coming with some new weapons that may switch up the meta, and some leaks have shown what we can expect. Bear in mind that these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt considering they’re in-development content.

Helldivers 2 leak reveals a ton of new content

A Twitter thread showing some gameplay on the dev server has been making the rounds, with it having footage and screenshots of a ton of new equipment coming to the game.

First up are the new armor sets. No stats for these, but they’re certainly a departure from the armor sets that are currently in the game. All of the armor looks a bit less shiny and neat than most of the other armor options in the game currently other than the Hazmat suit, and each one has some new lore in its description.

As for the weapons, here are the full names and stats for every weapon and stratagem in the thread. Bear in mind that some parts of these leaks are incomplete due to the content being in development, and that all of this is subject to change.

New Helldivers 2 Loadout Weapons

Arc-12 Blitzer

This shotgun blasts a wide burst of high-voltage electricity that arcs between all units—enemy or otherwise—within range.

  • Fire Rate: 30

LAS-16 Sickle

A laser rifle, firing in short bursts. Does not need reloading, but if it overheats a new heat sink must be fitted.

SG-225NS Breaker Nailsplitter

A modified Breaker shotgun offering improved armor penetration and accuracy, with exceptionally high levels of recoil.

SG-225BB Breaker Bugbiter

A heavier version of the Breaker shotgun, with higher damage at the cost of recoil and maneuverability.

BR-14 Adjudicator

An accurate, armor-penetrating rifle, the BR-14 Adjudicator delivers righteous judgement to medium-sized enemies, though its restrictive magazine limits its effectiveness against large groups.

AR-20L Justice

A high-caliber rifle with high damage and penetration.

AR-48 Truth Whisperer

A silenced assault rifle with a built-in suppressor, which won’t alert distant targets to the user’s position. (Important note, this would be the very first silenced weapon, paving the road for more stealth options in the future. Exciting!)

AR-22C Patriot

A compact assault rifle with an extremely high rate of fire.

A laser pistol that fires a continuous beam. Does not require ammo but can overheat and need to change batteries.

A pistol that fires grenades. Must be reloaded between shots.

A thermite grenade designed to adhere to surfaces before burning at 2000 degrees Celcius. Capable of burning through some armor.

BX-7 Displacer Pack

A portable teleportation device that activates the moment before the user takes a potentially fatal blow.

A very powerful but difficult-to-wield machine gun with intense recoil.

An expendable missile launcher equipped with four laser-guided rockets.

A heavily armored walking Exosuit equipped with dual autocannons.

A single-use target-seeking anti-aircraft missile launcher. Must be locked to the target before firing.

Additionally, there’s a laser rocket launcher that functions similarly to Halo’s Spartan Laser. Though we don’t have any info on its stats, it looks incredibly strong in action.
