The Honkai Star Rail community has responded to the recent review bombing drama from Genshin Impact fans, calling out the game’s community.

Recently, Genshin Impact fans have felt left out when it comes to rewards and the level of attention HoYoverse is giving to the game. This is in direct contrast to Honkai Star Rail, which has recently rewarded players with a free 5-star and banner pulls.

This has led to a lot of angry Genshin fans taking to social media to voice their anger, with a number even review bombing Honkai Star Rail. Well, now the HSR community has hit back at the Genshin Impact community, calling out fans who are trying to drag down their game.

HSR players call out Genshin fans review bombing game

“Bruhh…. bug off. These stans really do be nasty,” said one player in response to the recent HSR review bomb. “Something’s telling me reverse anniversary bombing gonna happen.”

However, some commenters noted that members of both Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact communities enjoy creating unnecessary drama. “HSR trolls love to rub the generosity they are getting in Genshin players’ faces,” said one commenter. “Genshin love review bombing and simultaneously downplaying any HSR achievement.”

It’s important to note, that a lot of the recent anger from the Genshin Impact community stems from the lack of free rewards – an area that has only been highlighted further by Honkai Star Rail’s free 5-star, Dr. Ratio. HoYoverse has historically never given out a free 5-star in Genshin Impact, which has left the community feeling left out.

The game previously won the Best Mobile Game award in 2021 but gave Travelers 1,600 Primogems, which could then be used to spend on future banner rolls. However, many Genshin Impact fans believe the game doesn’t receive as much attention as HSR, which has only added fuel to the fire.

“If they have issues with their game, address it to their game,” responded one frustrated HSR player. “If they have issues with the other community, address it there respectively.” Others were also keen to stress that Genshin fans should use methods to get the devs to listen to their grievances.

“What if they start actually protesting against their game by not playing it or not spending any money instead of downvoting our game? Genshin players are such immature babies, explained on player.”

Of course, these comments weren’t met without their criticisms and one HSR fan noted that their community doesn’t always help the situation. “While this is true, I assure you that the Genshin community would be a lot less toxic towards HSR if the HSR community stopped acting like they’re 5 and just got a new console but their brother didn’t.”
